Risk and Performance Coordinator

Role Purpose
Provide comprehensive support for risk management and performance monitoring activities, ensuring accurate risk documentation, performance tracking, and effective operation of risk and performance management processes. This role focuses on maintaining risk registers, performance dashboards, and supporting compliance workflows to enable proactive risk identification and performance optimization across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management Support
Maintain and update risk registers, risk assessments, and mitigation action plans

Support risk identification workshops and risk review meetings by gathering and organizing relevant data

Monitor risk mitigation progress and escalate overdue or high-priority risk actions

Assist in developing risk reporting templates and standardizing risk documentation processes

Coordinate with department heads to collect risk updates and performance metrics

Performance Monitoring and Analysis
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics across business units

Review performance dashboards and scorecards using Azara/Tableau

Monitor performance trends and highlight areas requiring management attention

Support performance review meetings by preparing data analysis and trend reports

Maintain performance databases and ensure data accuracy and completeness

System Administration and Data Management
Maintain and update SharePoint sites for risk and performance management

Manage workflows for risk reporting, performance tracking, and approval processes

Ensure risk and performance documents are correctly stored, version-controlled, and accessible

Upload and track risk assessments, performance data, and mitigation evidence within systems

Provide user support for risk and performance system queries and escalate technical issues

Reporting and Communication
Prepare regular risk and performance reports for management committees

Generate executive summaries highlighting key risk exposures and performance achievements

Support audit and regulatory review processes by compiling risk and performance documentation

Coordinate communication of risk alerts and performance updates to relevant stakeholders

Performance Measures
Risk Data Accuracy: Maintain high accuracy in risk registers and performance metrics

Reporting Timeliness: Deliver risk and performance reports within agreed deadlines

System Efficiency: Resolve user queries as soon as possible and complete system updates promptly

Process Enhancement: Support continuous improvement in risk and performance management workflows

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Education
GCSEs or equivalent qualification required

A-levels, vocational qualifications, or relevant professional training in risk management or business analysis preferred

Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting

Experience with SharePoint administration or risk management systems advantageous

Familiarity with risk and performance platforms desirable

Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret performance data and risk metrics

Professional Experience
Previous administrative or analytical experience in risk management, performance monitoring, or business support

Experience with data management, reporting, or business intelligence tools beneficial

Understanding of risk management principles and performance measurement frameworks preferred
