Position Summary
The Risk & Controls Analyst supports the bank’s risk management framework by identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across business units. This role ensures that internal controls are properly designed, effectively implemented, and aligned with regulatory standards. The analyst works closely with operational teams to strengthen control environments, reduce potential losses, and promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Assessment & Monitoring
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify operational, financial, compliance, and technology-related risks.
- Maintain and update risk registers, control inventories, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and escalate unusual trends or potential issues to management.
Internal Controls Evaluation
- Review and test internal controls to ensure they are properly designed and operating effectively.
- Identify control gaps, weaknesses, or inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with business units to implement improvements and follow up on remediation progress.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, control evidence, and process explanations.
- Ensure business processes comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Internal Audit teams on control-related initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business, IT or a related field.
- Professional certifications (CRMA, CIA, CISA, FRM, ISO 31000) are an advantage.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in risk management, internal controls, audit, or compliance (preferably in banking or financial services).
- Experience in control testing, process reviews, or regulatory reporting is beneficial.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of risk management principles, internal control frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis tools, and risk management software.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and work independently when required.

Pay: ₹278,714.47 - ₹535,426.91 per year
