The successful candidate will join a high calibre leadership team and take responsibility for establishing and developing a market leading risk advisory capability within a firm that is firmly committed to building scale in Saudi Arabia.

The Role

The Director, Risk Advisory will oversee a broad portfolio of risk, governance and internal control engagements across the public and private sectors. The role requires someone who can combine strong technical expertise with practical, commercial judgement. You will have responsibility for leading client relationships, delivering high quality engagements and building a strong team in the Kingdom. The position will work closely with colleagues across advisory, consulting and internal audit, ensuring clients receive pragmatic and effective risk solutions that support strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise senior executives and boards on risk frameworks, operating models and improvement programmes
  • Develop the methodology, standards and delivery approach for the risk advisory function in Saudi Arabia
  • Build and mentor a growing team, creating a collaborative and high performing environment
  • Manage client relationships and act as a trusted adviser across key government related entities and major private sector groups
  • Contribute actively to business development, thought leadership and the wider growth agenda of the Saudi practice
  • Collaborate with regional service line leaders to support integrated advisory mandates
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will bring eight to ten years of relevant experience gained within a major professional services firm, either in a Big Four environment or a recognised advisory practice. Strong Middle East experience is essential, with a clear understanding of the regional market and client landscape. Relocation support is available for candidates already based within the GCC.

You will have strong technical capability across risk, governance or internal controls, combined with the ability to build trusted relationships at senior level.

A track record of delivering complex projects, managing teams and contributing to practice growth will be important. This role will suit someone who is motivated by the opportunity to build a practice during a period of significant expansion and who is comfortable operating in a fast growing and entrepreneurial environment.
