About the Job:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented
Risk Engineer
to join our dynamic project team working on large-scale power, transmission, and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical, operational, and project risks across all phases of engineering and construction.
You will act as a key advisor to project leadership, ensuring that risk-based thinking is embedded into design, execution, procurement, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

Lead the development and implementation of
project risk management frameworks
.

Identify, assess, and document technical, operational, financial, and schedule risks.
-
Develop and maintain
risk registers
aligned with project progress.
-
Perform
quantitative and qualitative risk analysis
(probability-impact, scenario modeling).
-
Integrate mitigation strategies with engineering, planning, and construction teams.
-
Monitor project milestones and highlight potential risks proactively.
-
Develop and track
risk mitigation plans
.
-
Facilitate
risk workshops
and stakeholder review sessions.
-
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
-
Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.

Support lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or related field)
.

Minimum
6+ years of experience
in risk engineering, project controls, or similar roles.
-
Experience in
EPC, power, substations, or infrastructure projects
is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of project lifecycle and risk management practices.
-
Proficiency in tools such as
Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Excel
.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
-
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.

Additional proficiency in

is a plus.
Knowledge and Functional Competencies:

Strong understanding of
risk management frameworks (ISO 31000 or equivalent)
.

Knowledge of
project controls, cost estimation, and scheduling principles

Familiarity with
contractual risk, claims, and commercial awareness
.

Ability to perform
quantitative risk analysis (QRA)
and Monte Carlo simulations.

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.

High attention to detail with the ability to think strategically.

Proactive mindset with strong decision-making capabilities under uncertainty.
