JD.com is seeking a Risk Management Officer for our stablecoin business to be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management framework. The Risk Management Officer will work closely with the executive team to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into all aspects of the stablecoin business and aligned with the company’s strategic goals in the UAE. This role is full-time based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a risk management framework compliant with Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) regulatory requirements.
• Oversee cybersecurity protocols and disaster recovery plans for digital asset systems.
• Manage third-party risk assessments for banking partners and tech vendors.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the company's risk management framework, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks associated with the stablecoin business.
• Develop risk management documentation for Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) license submission.
• Present risk appetite statements and mitigation strategies to the Board.
• Collaborate with legal teams to align policies with ADGM’s Digital Assets Regulation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, or related field; FRM/PRM certification preferred.
• 5+ years of risk management experience with financial institutions in ADGM.
• Expertise in quantitative modelling and regulatory technology solutions.
• Strategic thinker, adept at balancing innovation with regulatory compliance.
