Risk Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our team in Qatar for a major infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks, with a focus on large-scale road and highway construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management strategies and frameworks across all project phases
• Identify potential risks related to safety, schedule, cost, environment, and compliance
• Perform regular risk assessments, scenario planning, and impact analysis
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to monitor and control risks
• Prepare and maintain detailed risk registers and reports
• Ensure compliance with international risk management standards and best practices
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on risk mitigation techniques

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management for large-scale road and highway infrastructure projects
• International work experience outside the MENA region is required
• Strong understanding of risk identification and mitigation in major construction projects
• Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ISO 31000, PMI-RMP, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills
• Professional certifications such as PMI-RMP, IRM, or equivalent are an advantage

Preferred Candidate:

• Currently available or willing to relocate to Qatar
• Experience working with international consultants, contractors, or government clients
• Demonstrated success in managing risk on multi-national infrastructure projects

Pay: From QAR8,000.00 per month
