Risk Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Risk Manager to join HB and lead our enterprise risk strategy across financial, operational, safety, and security domains.

This role is critical in helping us strengthen our decision-making, ensure compliance, and support HB’s business growth through proactive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.

You’ll collaborate closely with department directors, bringing data-driven insight, analytical expertise, and forward-thinking solutions that help HB operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk framework aligned with HB’s strategic objectives and business plans.
• Lead the design and enhancement of risk identification, scoring, appetite, and reporting systems.
• Partner with department heads to assess and mitigate operational and financial risks across all business units.
• Conduct risk evaluations and review past incidents to strengthen future prevention strategies.
• Provide expert risk advisory and recommendations to leadership, ensuring all levels of the organization embed a risk-aware culture.
• Report and communicate key risks, mitigation plans, and emerging trends to the Executive Team and Board.
• Liaise with external consultants and auditors on risk-related reviews and compliance measures.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulatory changes, and emerging FMCG sector risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Risk Management (required).
• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field (preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in risk management, with at least 5 years in the FMCG sector at a senior level.
• Demonstrated track record of building or leading Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
