Risk Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Risk Officer to join a leading financial services client based in Bahrain. This role is critical in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Identify, assess, and monitor financial, operational, and regulatory risks
• Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to senior management
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and international best practices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen risk awareness and controls
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and documentation for executive review
• Support internal and external audits related to risk and compliance
• Monitor emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in risk management within Financial Services, Crypto or FinTech
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Bahrain and the GCC region
• Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA are highly desirable
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency in risk management tools and reporting systems
