We are seeking an experienced
Risk Director / Risk Manager
to lead and strengthen risk management across our
Business Units, Operations, Construction, and Corporate Functions
(Corporate Affairs, People & Culture, Legal, and HSSE).
This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating
operational, construction, financial, human capital, and HSSE risks
across complex projects and corporate activities. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance risk visibility, improve decision-making, and protect long-term business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise, Operations & Construction Risk

Identify and manage risks across operations and construction, including reliability, outages, availability, commercial, contractual, environmental, and regulatory risks.

Consolidate project and construction risks at the corporate level in collaboration with Construction, Project Delivery, and CFO teams.

Develop and implement risk strategies covering funding gaps, schedule delays, supply chain disruptions, liquidated damages, and quality/QA-QC issues.

Ensure mitigation actions are tracked and embedded into risk treatment plans.
Human Capital Risk

Partner with People & Culture to assess workforce risks such as attrition, recruitment challenges, organizational restructuring, and culture-related risks.

Aggregate site-level workforce risks into a clear corporate view, including challenges related to remote or hard-to-staff locations.

Provide senior management with clear insights and recommendations on human capital risk exposure.
HSSE & Sustainability Risk

Assess HSSE risks and ensure alignment with corporate frameworks and industry best practices.

Monitor environmental, sustainability, and ESG-related regulations and evaluate their impact on operations and projects.

Collaborate with HSSE and Sustainability teams to integrate environmental and social risks into decision-making.
Risk Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor project and operational performance to identify emerging and trending risks.

Develop Early Risk Indicators (ERIs) across operations and construction portfolios.

Maintain risk dashboards and deliver concise, actionable reports to senior management.
Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Building

Work closely with Legal, Finance, Operations, Construction, Technology, and Compliance teams to ensure a holistic risk approach.

Support investment and business decisions by embedding risk considerations early.

Deliver risk awareness sessions and training across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Professional financial certification
(mandatory)
.

Risk certifications such as
FRM, IRM
or similar are highly preferred.
Experience
-
10+ years of experience in risk management, investment analysis, or business development.

Strong exposure to large-scale infrastructure, construction, energy, utilities, or capital-intensive projects.

Proven experience managing operational, construction, financial, and regulatory risks.

Deep understanding of financial markets, investment pricing models, and risk methodologies.
