Job Title: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - Emergency Room (ER) Alternate Night Duty
must have 2-3 years experience
Job Summary:
As a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care with alternate night duty, you will play a critical role in providing timely and efficient medical care to patients presenting in the emergency department during nighttime hours. Working closely with other medical professionals, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute medical conditions, injuries, and traumas.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care:
- Perform initial assessments and triage patients according to the severity of their condition.
- Stabilize and manage patients experiencing medical emergencies, injuries, or traumas.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by attending physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
2. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with attending physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding patient status, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences to discuss complex cases and formulate treatment strategies.
3. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely and thorough manner, adhering to institutional guidelines and regulatory requirements.
4. Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, safety, and outcomes within the emergency department.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ER operations.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Valid medical license and registration to practice as a physician.
- Completion of residency training in emergency medicine or relevant specialty.
- Previous experience working in emergency medicine preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage acute medical conditions and emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work alternate night shifts as required.
Working Conditions:
- Shift-based schedule, including alternate night duty.
- Fast-paced environment with exposure to acute medical conditions and emergencies.
- Potential for exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting patients or equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs65,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
