We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Computer Engineering Technology Researcher to contribute to the development of next-generation computing systems, hardware-software integration, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer engineering, systems architecture, and applied research, with the ability to translate complex problems into innovative technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct applied and theoretical research in areas such as embedded systems, IoT, high-performance computing, AI hardware, edge computing, or cybersecurity.
- Design and prototype hardware/software solutions and validate performance through simulation and testing.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at technical conferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, hardware designers, and data scientists.
- Stay updated with advancements in computer engineering, and identify opportunities to apply new techniques or tools.
- Assist in writing research proposals, grant applications, and technical documentation.
- Mentor junior researchers or interns as needed.
- Support technology transfer from research to product development or commercialization.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven research experience with publications in reputed journals or conferences.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, digital systems design, and embedded platforms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Verilog/VHDL.
- Experience with tools like MATLAB, LabVIEW, Xilinx/Altera FPGA development kits, or simulation tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in AI/ML accelerators, edge computing devices, or real-time systems.
- Knowledge of hardware/software co-design methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, ISO) and research ethics.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative research environment.
