Hardware Technician

Job Purpose:

To provide technical support/repair for computer hardware, peripherals, and related equipment, ensuring smooth operation, timely troubleshooting, and maintenance of all IT hardware assets within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, Repair and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Diagnose and repair hardware issues including motherboards, RAM, hard drives, and power supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on all IT hardware equipment.
• Assist in network setup of LAN and ensure all systems are properly connected and operational.
• Support software installation, updates, and troubleshooting when related to hardware compatibility.
• Document all service requests, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure timely response to technical support calls and minimize downtime.
• Assist the IT team in new system setups, lab installations, and equipment relocations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of Repairing computer hardware components and architecture.
• Knowledge of Windows and basic networking.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality service.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in hardware maintenance or technical support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
