RN - Critical Care

RN – Critical Care (Contract) – NY 14465

Pay: $2,108 – $2,365

Schedule:

• Full-Time, 3x12-hour Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Every other weekend (EOW) required

• Holidays required

• 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide critical care across ICU, ED, and Med/Surg units

• Float between GGH & SSMH as needed

• Monitor, assess, and document patient status

• Administer treatments and respond to emergencies

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Active NYS RN License – Required

• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) – Required

• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care – Required

• Must be cross-trained and comfortable floating to ICU, ED, Med/Surg, MST units

Certifications (AHA or RQI only):

• BLS, ACLS, PALS – Required

• NIHSS – Required

• Basic Coronary Care – within 6 months of hire

• CPI certification – within 90 days of hire

Preferred:

• Emergency Nurses Association certification (within 2 years)

• TNCC (within 2 years)

• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office
