RN IV Clinical Education Coordinator

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Education Professional, you will be a vital contributor to the planning, coordination, and delivery of essential healthcare-related educational and training programs.

Every day, you will actively assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs. You will also provide direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives, ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants.

To be successful in this role, you will combine strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep understanding of healthcare education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff.

  • Implements a variety of teaching strategies appropriate to content, setting, learner's needs, and desired learner outcomes. Measurement: Observation, Documentation, Feedback
  • Grounds teaching strategies in a theoretical foundation and evidence-based practices. Measurement: Observation Feedback, Documentation
  • Considers multicultural influences on teaching and learning. Measurement: Observation, Documentation, Feedback
  • Engages in self-reflection and continued learning to improve teaching practices. Measurement: Observation, Documentation Feedback
  • Skilled in the use of informational technologies and their appropriate use in supporting the teaching-learning process. Measurement: Observation, Documentation, Feedback

Job Requirements

Required
  • Masters Of Science Nursing - MSN
  • A minimum of 2, preferably 5 yearsexperience as a nurse educator with an emphasis on adult learning
  • Nurse preceptor experience in addition to nurse educator experience may be considered
  • Registered Nurse: CA
  • Basic Life Support - BLS

Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS
