Description:

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, permanent Med Surg opportunity in Panama City, Florida.

In this role, the RN provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs while delivering safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This position requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Provide direct nursing care aligned with organizational standards and nursing best practices.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to manage patient care needs in an acute care setting.

COMPENSATION AND DIFFERENTIALS:

• Hourly pay based on years of experience:
• $27/hour (approximately 2 years)
• $31/hour (approximately 5 years)
• $34/hour (approximately 10 years)
• Up to $39/hour (15-year maximum)

Additional Compensation:

• Night shift differential: $4.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus:

• $15,000

Requirements:

• Current Florida RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
• Compact license holders must obtain active Florida licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Acute Care RN experience required (does not need to be Med Surg specific).
• Acute care experience must be within the last 3 years unless the candidate has several years of RN experience, in which case experience within the last 5 years may be considered.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Critical thinking ability with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physical demands including standing, bending, lifting patients and equipment up to 50 pounds.
