RN- Medical Surgical Oncology (Rotating Shift)

• Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
• Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Oncology RN to join our team. This role involves providing care and treatment to adult patients who are ill, injured, or recovering, within a patient-centered care model. The RN will make independent clinical assessments and manage treatments while collaborating with a supportive interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and situation.
• Advocate for patients as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or clinical issues.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with expected outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and act as a patient advocate.
• Optimize the use of time, supplies, and equipment to deliver effective care.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments while providing emotional support throughout their stay.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience (acute care preferred but LTAC experience will be considered).
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Certifications:
  • Current BLS required
  • ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
• Education: BSN preferred
