RN-Neuroscience

The University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank Campus is looking for a savvy Registered Nurse to join our team of talented healthcare providers!

The RN on the Neuroscience unit provides care to adult patients with complex medical conditions which require close observation, monitoring and interventions, including but not limited to neurological, neurosurgical, ENT and trauma patients.

Our team provides advanced monitoring using current technology, manages complex medication and infusion therapies. In addition, we care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit.

This position works a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 week pay period) on the evening shifts (3:00pm-11:30pm), 8 hour shifts and every other weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

$42.96- $72.75 Hourly

The RN in the Neuroscience unit will provides care to adult patients with complex medical conditions which require close observation, monitoring and interventions, including but not limited to neurological, neurosurgical, ENT and trauma patients. They will perform advanced monitoring using current technology, manage complex medication and infusion therapies. In addition, they will care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit. They will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.
