What We’re Looking For:

• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative nursing professionals

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a Level III NICU

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 1 year of hire

• Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification encouraged/preferred

What You Will Do:

Coordinate patient care processes including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with the patient, family, physician, and appropriate support services for neonates in our Level III NICU.

• Conduct comprehensive physical, psychosocial, functional, and nutritional assessments

• Determine nursing diagnoses and identify expected outcomes based on patient condition

• Develop and regularly update an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care

• Implement nursing interventions, ensuring timely administration of treatments and medications

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, maintaining oversight and accountability

• Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning

• Continuously evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as needed

• Demonstrate proficiency in managing care of high-risk neonates per NAN, AAP, and department guidelines

• Follow protocols for infant security and administer procedural sedation safely and effectively

CPR, NRP, 1 year of NICU level III experience or greater.
