Road Paver Machine Operator

The Asphalt Paver Operator is responsible for operating paving machines to lay, spread, and smooth asphalt on roads, highways, parking lots, and other surfaces. The operator ensures proper thickness, smoothness, and alignment of the asphalt surface while maintaining safe and efficient work practices. Duties include coordinating with truck drivers, monitoring screed settings, adjusting material flow, and performing basic maintenance on the equipment. Attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential.
