Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls, diagnosing and repairing vehicles on-site to minimize downtime.
• Perform comprehensive repairs including brake systems, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension, HVAC systems, and diesel engine repairs.
• Conduct tire services, wheel alignments, and welding as needed to restore vehicle safety and functionality.
• Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other industrial machinery safely during repair processes.
• Maintain detailed service records, document repairs performed, and communicate effectively with customers about work completed.

Experience

• Proven dealership or heavy equipment service technician experience with a strong mechanical background.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, shocks & struts, and welding.
• Familiarity with heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and tractor-trailers.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Experience working with diesel engines and performing brake repairs is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform repairs in diverse outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated technicians eager to showcase their mechanical expertise while delivering exceptional roadside service!

Seeking 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions.

Weekends - Saturday/Sunday work is paid an additional $5.00 per hour premium

3rd shift week day work is paid an additional $2.00 per hour premium.

Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
