Robot Operating System Developer

Job Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ROS Developer with a strong foundation in Python, Computer Vision (OpenCV), and Machine Learning. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying robotic perception and control systems using ROS to enhance autonomous functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robotic software using ROS / ROS2.
• Implement computer vision algorithms using OpenCV for detection, tracking, and recognition.
• Integrate and train machine learning models for perception and decision-making.
• Work with Python (minimum 1 year experience) for scripting, algorithm development, and data processing.
• Perform sensor integration (LiDAR, camera, IMU) and data fusion for autonomous operation.
• Collaborate with hardware, electronics, and mechanical teams for full system integration.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and optimization for real-time robotic applications.
• Document processes and maintain clear technical records.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Python programming.
• Proficiency in ROS / ROS2 (nodes, topics, services, launch files).
• Strong knowledge of OpenCV, NumPy, and Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch).
• Experience with Linux (Ubuntu) development environment.
• Understanding of SLAM, path planning, kinematics, and control systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience with Gazebo, RViz, or real-world robotic hardware.
• Familiarity with Jetson / Raspberry Pi and deploying AI models on embedded systems.
• Good teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
