Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm
Location: Nicollet, MN

For over 50 years, Hewitt Machine & Manufacturing has been a trusted leader in boat dock, lift, and pontoon leg manufacturing , serving customers across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated welder who wants to take the next step and learn robotic welding!

If you have solid welding experience and a strong work ethic, Hewitt is willing to train you in all robotic welding operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build new skills, operate modern equipment, and grow within a stable, high-performance manufacturing team. If you’re a great welder, we can teach you the rest!

What You’ll Do

• Operate robotic welding cells during production
• Load materials, set up parts, and monitor weld quality
• Perform small manual welds when needed
• Learn how to adjust basic robot programs (training provided)
• Inspect welds for accuracy and consistency
• Keep the robotic welding area organized, safe, and efficient
• Work closely with experienced robotic programmers and welders
• Support continuous improvement of weld quality and workflows

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Strong motivation to learn new skills and grow
