Robotic Weld Cell Maintenance Mechanic

Robotic Weld Cell Maintenance Mechanic

A day in this role: Your shift kicks off at either 2:30 PM (2nd) or 10:30 PM (3rd) at our Holland, MI plant. You check your work queue in Plex, scan downtime codes, and walk the weld lines. A robot flags a basic fault—using the teach pendant, you jog the robot to a safe position, diagnose a sensor issue, and return the cell to production. Next, you perform PMs, top off the right lubricants, and document everything in Plex. Before handoff, you brief the incoming team so they’re set up for success.

About Challenge Manufacturing: We’re a tier 1 leader in complex metal assemblies for the global automotive industry. As an employee-owned company, our ESOP awards shares annually, growing an extra retirement benefit as you grow your career.
