We are seeking a Robotics & AI Developer experienced with Unitree robots (Go1, Go2, B1, G1, etc.) to customize robot behavior, build new movement capabilities, and enhance AI-driven autonomy.

You will work on motion control, perception, intelligence, and real-time robot behaviour, helping transform robotic hardware into smart, adaptable systems for real-world use cases.

Key Responsibilities Robotics & Motion Control

  • Customize and modify Unitree robot movements
  • Develop new locomotion behaviors and motion sequences
  • Tune gait parameters for stability, balance, and responsiveness
  • Work with kinematics, dynamics, and real-time controllers

AI & Intelligence Enhancement

  • Improve robot decision-making using AI/ML
  • Build behavior trees, state machines, or RL-based control
  • Enhance perception: vision, obstacle detection, awareness
  • Integrate AI logic with sensor data and motion systems

Software Development

  • Work with Unitree SDK, APIs, and firmware interfaces
  • Develop software for robot-side and operator-side applications
  • Optimize algorithms for real-time execution
  • Debug, test, and deploy robotic applications

Integration & Testing

  • Integrate sensors, cameras, and external systems
  • Test behaviors in simulation and real environments
  • Document custom movements, AI logic, and system configurations

Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Have

  • Strong experience in robotics software development
  • Hands-on experience with Unitree robots or similar quadruped/humanoid platforms
  • Proficiency in C++ and/or Python
  • Experience with ROS / ROS2
  • Solid foundation in:
  • Robot kinematics & dynamics
  • Motion planning & control
  • Sensor fusion

AI / Intelligence

  • Experience with:
  • Reinforcement Learning (preferred)
  • Computer Vision
  • Behavior trees, FSMs, planners
  • Familiarity with PyTorch / TensorFlow is a plus

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or other simulators
  • Deploying AI models on embedded/edge devices
  • Background in humanoid or legged robots
  • Experience with real-time systems or embedded robotics
