Duties
- Operate roll forming machinery safely and efficiently.
- Set up machine tooling and make adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Read and interpret production orders, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform quality inspections using tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production records and report downtime, scrap, and quality concerns.
- Load steel coils and assist with material handling using forklifts and overhead cranes (if certified).
- Follow all OSHA safety requirements and company procedures.
- Assist with continuous improvement and housekeeping initiatives.
Skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred; roll forming or metal fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to read measuring devices accurately to 1/32 inch.
- Steel framing manufacturing.
- Knowledge of stud and track profiles.
- Experience with quality inspections and production reporting.
- Produce quality parts that meet SFIA standards.
- Minimize scrap and rework.
- Meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Support team objectives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other quality inspection instruments
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for ensuring dimensional accuracy
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machine adjustments
- Familiarity with welding techniques and electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes is a plus
- Experience with tooling setup, fabrication techniques, hand tools usage, and tooling maintenance
- Capable of operating forklifts and cranes safely in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance throughout the production cycle
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting issues promptly

Pay: $37,440.00 - $45,000.00 per year
