Roll-Off Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll-Off Driver ( manual and automatic trasnmission) to operate roll-off trucks. CDL Required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting and disposing of waste or materials while ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving and vehicle maintenance to support efficient operations. Candidates with prior delivery driver experience and mechanical knowledge are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off trucks, Manual and automatic safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials or waste using appropriate truck equipment.
• Transport materials to designated locations while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance or minor repairs as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules or issues during routes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards related to heavy lifting, manual transmission operation, and commercial driving.

Requirements

• must have a DOT valid Medical Card.
• CDL
• Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with manual transmissions is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes.
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; previous delivery driver experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial vehicle operation and waste management regulations.
• Ability to work independently in various weather conditions and maintain punctuality for scheduled pickups/deliveries.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
