Roll-Off Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized trucks designed for hauling large waste containers, ensuring safe and efficient delivery and pickup of roll-off dumpsters across various sites. Duties

• Safely operate roll-off trucks to transport waste containers to and from designated locations
• Load and unload containers using manual hook system lifting techniques
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and service records for each assignment
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments
• Perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary to secure or move containers safely
• Avoid damaging property while setting down or picking up dumpsters
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during daily operations

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL - Class A or B)
• Proven experience driving heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar commercial vehicles
• Mechanical knowledge of truck systems for basic troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with city or regional routes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Experience with load & unload procedures using front loader trucks or flatbeds preferred
• Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy vehicle operation and waste management equipment
