Roll-Off Driver

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities

• Safely operate roll-off trucks, including front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to transport waste containers to designated disposal sites.
• Load and unload large roll-off containers with precision and care, ensuring proper placement and securement.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage the loading process using manual lifting techniques when necessary, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
• Maintain accurate logs of all trips, loads, and vehicle inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks or report mechanical problems promptly to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with heavy-duty trucks such as front loader, rear loader, dump truck, or flatbed vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on the vehicle type.
• Experience operating manual transmission trucks is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual labor as needed during loading/unloading processes.
• Familiarity with load securing procedures and safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
