Roof Waterproofing - Torch Membrane (Skilled)

Responsibilities:

• Install torch-applied bituminous membrane systems for roof waterproofing.
• Prepare surfaces: cleaning, leveling, and priming before membrane application.
• Safely operate propane torches and apply membranes with precision and overlap sealing.
• Inspect and repair damaged waterproofing layers on rooftops and terraces.
• Ensure proper drainage slopes and flashing integration.
• Follow safety protocols and fire prevention measures during torching.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to meet project timelines.

Requirement:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in torch membrane waterproofing Familiarity with SBS, APP, and other bitumen-based systems.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
• Strong understanding of UAE building codes and waterproofing standards.
• Knowledge of fire safety and PPE usage during torching.
• On-site training or certification in waterproofing systems is a plus.
• Language - Hindi / English
