Roofer

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new materials
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Install or replace flashing around roof penetrations and in valleys
- Inspect roofs for damage and make necessary repairs
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in roofing projects
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures while working on roofs

Requirements:

-Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

-Must be comfortable with metal and shingle roofing installation practices (TPO preferred)

-Must have a driver's license (clean driving record is a plus)

-Must have reliable transportation

- Previous experience as a roofer or laborer in the construction industry
- Knowledge of roofing techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools commonly used in roofing projects
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Basic welding and fabrication skills for metal roof installations
- Familiarity with metal stud framing for commercial roofing projects
