Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding equipment.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute roofing projects.
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and framing components to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Use construction estimating skills to help determine material needs and project timelines.
  • Apply caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, and masonry techniques to ensure seamless finishes and weatherproofing.
  • Support the fabrication and installation of metal studs, framing components, and other structural elements on-site.
  • Conduct site inspections for safety compliance, quality assurance, and proper installation procedures during each phase of the project.

Experience

  • Prior experience with construction sites or roofing projects is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated trainees eager to learn!
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating, heavy lifting techniques, welding, tile laying, plumbing, masonry, or remodeling will set you apart.
  • Experience in restoration work or handyman tasks demonstrates versatility and a proactive attitude toward diverse project needs.
  • Candidates with background in carpentry—frame carpentry or trim carpentry—metal stud framing or concrete forming are encouraged to apply.
