Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% guest satisfaction by providing guests with a clean, welcoming, comfortable and safe room. maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.

Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms and public areas
- Ensure all housekeeping standards are met efficiently and thoroughly
- Report maintenance issues or damages to supervisor promptly
- Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized.
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning when necessary
- Promptly handles Guest complaints or requests and refers to Supervisor if unable to handle
- Ensures that all rooms or suites are secured upon leaving the Guest room or suite
- Support team efforts in delivering exceptional hospitality services
Additional Responsibilities:
- Follow proper key control procedure for issued keys.
- Remain aware of any and all potential security problems and report them to your Supervisor and/or GM.
- Report any suspicious or unusual situations encountered while performing duties to Supervisor, GM or MOD.
- Follow emergency procedures, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), safety precautions and safest work habits.
- Carry out any reasonable request by Management and Management Company.
- Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred
- Hotel or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role
- Able to work a flexible schedule
Physical Requirements:
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pound.
- Ability to pull, push up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Other:
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
