Room Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality is preferred, but we also value a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Ensure all public areas, hallways, and common spaces are tidy and presentable
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replacements as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests courteously and efficiently

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial services, or janitorial work is highly desirable
• Experience with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning or polishing is a plus
• Background in hospitality or industrial cleaning can be beneficial
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures related to custodial work is preferred
