Work under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager. Following a daily schedule, performing proper cleaning of each guestroom, performing responsibilities outside the guestrooms, guest service & satisfaction, and individual effectiveness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-MUST WORK WEEKENDS!!!!

PEOPLE:

· Working as a team to ensure our guests feel valued and are provided the highest level of customer service

GUEST EXPERIENCE:

· Provides courteous guest service promptly and efficiently

· Responds promptly to any guests inquiries or complaints (if reasonable) by either doing it himself/herself or delegating to a co-employee

· Offers alternate solution if guest demands cannot be met.

· Shows person control in front of guests by maintaining positive attitude, staying calm and patient, avoiding use of negative language, and never displaying anger

· Demonstrates a commitment to servicing the guest, takes initiative to speak to a guest, acknowledges every guest with eye contact, nod and greeting

· RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:

· Arrives to work promptly as scheduled

· Takes ten minutes to load carts with all necessary supplies

· Turn off all lights, strips beds, and drops all dirty linens to the laundry on all new checked-out rooms

· Cleans the cart and ensures that all bottles are correctly labelled

· Paces himself/herself so that each room is being cleaned properly and in a timely manner

· Vacuums, sweep and mop guest room floors

· Dust and clean room decorations, appliances and structural surfaces

· Dusts, brushes, polishes and vacuums furniture

· Clean showers, tubs, sinks and toilets, replenish amenities and supplies as needed

· Inspects rooms for safety hazards and for the operating conditions of equipment

· Check for damaged linens

· Make bed changing sheets in all check outs and as needed in stay overs

· Clean lobby, and dining areas as requested by supervisor

· Clean suites kitchens including washing dishes as needed

· Reports lost and found articles, maintenance problems, or special room problems to supervisor

· Prepares rooms for guest arrivals and responds to special guest requests

· Performs any other job related duties assigned by a supervisor

Pay: $14.00 per hour
