Rooms Reservation Agent

The Cluster Room Reservation Agent will be responsible for the reservations of both the Coral Dubai Deira Hotel and ECOS Dubai Hotel. Reporting directly to the Cluster Reservation Manager, the ideal candidate will handle various tasks related to reservation management, maximizing revenue, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and implement FRHI Pricing Strategies and Revenue Management principles.
• Manage reservation tasks including room blocks, chasing rooming lists from the Sales team & clients, inventory management for groups, and ensuring accurate billing instructions.
• Apply a general understanding of Groups Management, including cut-off dates, booking policies, and procedures.
• Maximize room revenue by converting telephone inquiries into confirmed sales.
• Utilize effective upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
• Support the Cluster Reservation Manager by managing reservations in line with revenue management strategies.
• Ensure all reservations meet property standards in terms of accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Familiarize and apply Revenue Management strategies, including sell levels and sell-directed rates according to hotel inventory.
• Fully understand and effectively use the Opera PMS/S&C system and be involved in property PMS conversions.
• Stay updated with market segments, rate plans, and distribution channels to adapt sales techniques accordingly.
• Assist the Cluster Reservation Manager with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Reservations or Royal Service is required.
• Must have experience with Opera Cloud Property Management System.
• Fluency in both verbal and written English is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.
• Experience in luxury hotel sales with a varied market mix background.

Working Hours: Shift-based (not fixed timing)
Weekly Off: One day off per week, as per duty roster
