Position Summary
The Rope Access Supervisor (IRATA Level 3) will lead rope access operations across various sites in Dubai, ensuring safe and compliant execution of work at height. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and adherence to IRATA ICOP, UAE HSE regulations, and company standards. A valid UAE driving license is essential for site mobility.
Key Responsibilities1. Supervision & Team Leadership
- Supervise and coordinate rope access teams for daily work activities across multiple Dubai sites.
- Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, and daily briefings.
- Ensure technicians follow IRATA procedures and site-specific requirements.
2. Safety & Operational Compliance
- Conduct task-specific risk assessments, method statements, and rescue plans in accordance with Dubai Municipality and IRATA standards.
- Perform equipment inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Act as the designated Level 3 responsible for rigging, safety oversight, and rescue operations.
- Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations, PTW systems, and client safety protocols.
3. Technical Responsibilities
- Set up rope access systems including anchors, rigging, and work-positioning systems.
- Oversee execution of work such as façade cleaning, glass replacement, structural inspections, maintenance, painting, or high-rise operations.
- Provide on-site technical solutions and ensure work quality meets client expectations.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily work reports, RA/Method Statements, equipment registers, and incident/near-miss reports.
- Verify and sign IRATA logbooks for technicians.
- Submit progress reports and coordinate with project management and client representatives.
5. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate effectively with clients, property management, FM companies, and contractors in Dubai.
- Represent the company professionally and support project planning and scheduling.
Qualifications & RequirementsMandatory
- IRATA Level 3 certification (valid and up-to-date).
- Minimum 2–3 years experience supervising rope access operations.
- Valid UAE Driving License (Manual/Automatic).
- Strong knowledge of IRATA ICOP, HSE practices, and rescue techniques.
- Experience working on high-rise buildings (common in Dubai).
