About the Role

We are hiring a hands-on ROS 2 engineer who has actually integrated software with real robots and has experience training models that run on hardware, not just in notebooks.

This role is focused on:

  • ROS 2
  • Real robot integration
  • Training and deploying models on physical systems

If your experience stops at simulation or tutorials, this role is not a fit.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ROS 2 (Humble / Iron) nodes
  • Integrate ROS 2 with real robotic hardware
  • Interface ROS 2 with:
  • Motors, actuators, sensors
  • Cameras and perception pipelines
  • Train models (ML / control / policy) using real or real-derived data
  • Deploy trained models into live ROS 2 systems
  • Debug real-world issues:
  • Timing and latency
  • Sensor noise
  • Hardware inconsistencies
  • Own the full loop: train → deploy → test → fix

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with ROS 2
  • Experience working with real robots (mandatory)
  • Experience in model training relevant to robotics
  • Perception models
  • Control or learning-based models
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Comfortable working on Linux (Ubuntu)

Good to Have

  • Robotic arms or mobile robots
  • Camera-based perception
  • Jetson / edge deployment
  • Basic understanding of robot dynamics

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
