Rotating & Static Equipment
Role Summary:
Responsible for surveillance of Contractors and Sub-Contractors’ quality management systems and inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, construction drawings, contract documents, and ISO standards for rotating and static equipment works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve inspection and test plans in line with specifications, codes, and standards
- Verify quality control documents, method statements, inspection records, and test certificates
- Monitor implementation of approved work procedures and inspection requirements
- Conduct inspection activities for rotating and static equipment during delivery, storage, preservation, and installation
- Perform witness and surveillance inspections related to equipment construction and testing works
- Review and sign inspection records, checklists, and test certificates
- Monitor work progress and identify potential interface or schedule issues
- Initiate non-conformance reports for unresolved quality issues
- Prepare daily inspection reports highlighting inspected items and observations
- Monitor material and spare parts delivery, storage, and preservation
- Review contractor quality documents and ensure traceability of records
Requirements:
- Experience in QA/QC inspection for rotating and static equipment projects
- Good understanding of construction and testing methods
- Knowledge of international codes, standards, and quality control techniques
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical engineering discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and related software
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
