Route Bus Driver

Qualifications:

• CDL License required with clean driving record (or willing/able to be trained and get one)
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to interact with all ages of students in a positive manner
• Ability to work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Capable of performing light duty setup, clerical and other work as assigned

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Responsible for transportation of student; including all responsibilities connected to operating a school bus per all applicable district policies & state/federal laws
• Conduct all pre-trip inspections as required
• Manage and maintain all students on the bus in a calm and safe manner
• Communicate with students, parents, and other staff members in a positive manner
• Maintain proper license and endorsement and pass DOT physical and random drug testing per DOT regulations
• Regular attendance is an essential job function

Terms of Employment:
School year position to follow student calendar
Daily 6:00am – 9:15am and 2:13pm – 5:00pm (approximately)
Subject to passing post offer background checks
