Route Driver

Gilbert Environmental is looking for a reliable team member to drive a pump-truck servicing, delivering, and picking up toilets on a regularly scheduled route. This is a full-time year-round position. You will be eligible for great family benefits including medical, dental, vision and a 401k.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to safely operate a pump truck with air brakes and a tank with a liquid load.
• Ability to read routes and service each customer identified on the tablet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Ability to be use a vacuum hose to remove waste from the toilets, apply chemicals and pressure wash down the unit followed up a restocking of supplies.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job handling a large hose and 5 gallon bucket for 20+ stops a day.
• Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 75 pounds.
• The employee is exposed to outside weather.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class C Drivers License
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
