Job Description - Route Optimization Analyst
We are seeking a proactive and analytical
Route Optimization Analyst
to support our Route-to-Market and Sales Operations teams. In this role, you will play a key part in designing efficient sales routes, enabling productivity improvements, and supporting strategic market execution.
What You’ll Do

Partner with the Go-to-Market team to understand commercial strategy, operating principles, and routing needs.

Prioritize and prepare routing objectives aligned to annual plans and market requirements.

Collaborate with Sales Managers to enhance route productivity and recommend performance-driven adjustments.

Support pre-work activities with local project teams: validate customer master data, conduct outlet segmentation, confirm visit frequency, and ensure accurate geocoding.

Use digital routing tools to generate balanced and efficient field sales routes based on key performance indicators (customer count, segmentation, visit frequency, sales volume, route duration, etc.).

Lead the full routing process: data collection, modeling current state, scenario building to determine headcount needs, creating new route structures, preparing work-change plans, and supporting deployment.

Work closely with Field Sales teams to validate route proposals and deliver them within expected timelines and productivity targets.

Review and maintain geofencing data to ensure accuracy and update routes as needed.

Develop and deliver reports on call compliance, call effectiveness, and before/after performance analysis; share insights and recommendations with Sales teams.

Prepare qualitative assessments to identify optimization opportunities and propose continuous improvements.

Adjust route solutions based on feedback from Go-to-Market and frontline leaders, ensuring alignment with defined routing principles.

Train new team members on routing tools, processes, and best practices.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or a related field.

English proficiency.

1-2 years of experience in Sales, Logistics, or Supply Chain (required).

SQL

Experience using routing or logistics software (preferred).

Strong project management skills are a plus.

Ability to understand complex business drivers, build metrics, analyze data, and implement improvements.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Results-oriented mindset with strong planning and follow-up capabilities.
