We specialize in high-performance fuel (smoothies and bowls) and are looking for a morning crew that can handle the "Morning Launch" and the "Lunch Rush" with grit and efficiency. Whether you are a college student at CWI, a student-athlete, or a homeschooled student looking for professional business experience, we offer a schedule that respects your life outside of work.

Detailed Responsibilities & Duties

1. Morning Operations & Opening (7:45 AM Start)

• The Launch: Arrive punctually at 7:45 AM to begin opening procedures, ensuring the shop is fully operational by opening time.
• Prep Operations: Calibrate equipment and prep fresh fruits, vegetables, and bases following strict quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Assist in restocking supplies, ingredients, and merchandise to ensure the line is prepared for high-volume periods.

2. Production & Quality Control

• Precision Blending: Prepare smoothies, juices, and food items following established Roxberry recipes and food safety standards.
• Speed of Service: Maintain a fast pace during peak hours (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM) to ensure minimal wait times for our customers.
• Presentation: Ensure every bowl and beverage meets our visual and taste standards before it reaches the guest.

3. Front-End Tech & Customer Engagement

• POS Mastery: Operate Aloha POS and Micros POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Guest Relations: Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting items that meet their preferences or dietary needs.
• Financial Accuracy: Manage cash register transactions efficiently while maintaining 100% accurate cash drawer balances.

4. Maintenance & Safety Compliance

• Sanitation: Maintain a clean and professional environment, including food prep stations, seating areas, and heavy equipment.
• Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with local food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• The Hand-Off: Complete shift-change tasks and cleaning checklists to set the afternoon team up for success.

Skills & Qualifications

• Reliability: You are the "anchor" of the morning. Consistent attendance for the 7:45 AM start is the #1 requirement.
• Time Management: Strong ability to handle multiple tasks during busy periods without losing focus.
• Basic Math: Proficiency in cash handling and retail math calculations for accurate register operations.
• Communication: Clear, direct communication skills with both teammates and customers.
• Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in a food service environment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic.
