RPA Specialist

Responsible for Design, Development & Deployment of Process Automations using UiPath RPA Platform. RPA Developer will also be responsible for coordination with various teams to understand automation requirements and for implementing the solution on the IT infrastructure. Detailed list of responsibilities provided below

-Understand business requirements for process automations by close coordination with various teams. Should have the experience to gather & understand detailed step-by-step actions taken during the process that will be automated using RPA.

-Work directly with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into technical approach and designs that can be implemented. Stakeholders will include Business Analysts, Product Owners, Human Resources and Technology Groups.

-Responsible for RPA platform and technical implementation – including product installation & configuration, version upgrades, process deployments and maintenance activities. Should coordinate closely with Bank’s IT Infrastructure team and provide necessary documentations required for maintaining the platform in Test & Production.

-Modelling & Designing of the Robotic Process to meet the Business & Technical Requirements. Prepare detailed design documents for each automated process. Create process documentation, end-user manuals and test-case documents. Contribute in technical and security architecture documents.

-Develop and Test automation workflows using UiPath, maintain code repository, deploy development tools and patterns such as logging & error handling. Support all stakeholders in end-to-end testing of the automated processes.

-Implements security processes and controls (both technical and procedural) to ensure uninterrupted operations and to comply with Bank’s Risk Management & Data Privacy policies.

-Understands the different capabilities of UiPath to solve problems during development, deployment & execution. Responsible for Issue resolution & RCA for incidents; follows proper escalation processes to meet or exceed target resolution timeframes.

-Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and participate in an on-call rotation as-needed. Proactively monitor and undertaken necessary actions to ensure high system availability.

-Prepare and maintain Developer standards and RPA best practices. Mentoring & guiding peers through Code reviews, regular interactions and documentations.

Coordinate all required monitoring activities for the supported systems, including operation of utilities to support customer system and data implementations. Responsible for maintenance and emergency response outside of normal business hours as necessary

-Collect and analyze system usage statistics and support in capacity planning required to manage the infrastructure to accommodate projected growth.

Projects

-Co-ordinate with the Project Manager(s) and IT Management for delivering multiple automation processes as necessary. Work closely with the Head of Department on the priorities identified and parallel tasks that need to be accomplished.

-Must assist in planning different activities of the project using SDLC methodology to achieve well-documented and controlled development so that clarity and transparency is maintained.

-Must ensure project deliverables are within planned milestones/on-time and within agreed quality parameters.

-Must adhere to all standards & processes defined in the team for project delivery, peer review, security, incident & problem management.

Personnel Specifications

Qualifications

•Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering (any discipline), Mathematics or Physical Sciences.

•Certification in UiPath RPA Product is strongly preferred.

•Relevant Technology related professional certifications desirable

Experience

•Minimum 2 Years of Hands-on experience with UiPath RPA product and development tools – including installation & deployment.

•Experience in architecting and developing workflow-based solutions or functionality, AI & Machine learning concepts preferred.

•Experience in developing automation for Banking & Financial Industry is preferred.

•Experience in traditional programming languages & technologies such as C/C++, Java, .Net, Python, Java script, HTML, etc.

•Good knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, Unix Scripts, UI design concepts and Integration techniques (such as REST & SOAP).

•Good understanding of Database & SQL Programming.

•Good understanding of Information Security standards & practices

•Advanced to expert knowledge, experience, and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration.
