Your role at Clorox:
This role supports transformation and continuous improvement efforts for the Close process within RTR. You will help support the implementation of optimizations, and support the team in shifting from transactional support to a more strategic and oversight-focused function. This role also supports data validation, testing, and quality assurance activities related to the Close process in RTR. You will ensure that changes, particularly system or SAP upgrades, do not disrupt reporting or Close operations. This role is critical for maintaining confidence in data accuracy, consistency, and completeness during transformation and upgrade cycles.
In this role, you will:
Support Strategy and Transformation Development and Execution
Support the implementation of optimizations to the RTR process including those impacting S/4 and other technologies.
Support the product backlog for Close-related systems and processes (e.g., GR, S/4HANA, AFC).
Perform testing for system changes, including selected and required upgrades
Lead and support testing for SAP upgrades impacting RTR Close data and reporting
Validate data accuracy and completeness during Close and post-close cycles
Partner with technical and business teams to define test cases and expected results
Log issues, track defects, and support resolution during testing cycles
Help ensure data integrity across reporting outputs and key Close systems
Support Close issue intake and level 0 problem solving; prioritize issues requiring EDT support.
Measurement and Integration:
Manages interfaces and other dependencies with other processes and functions to be boundaryless, touchless and noiseless.
Partner with international teams to enable consistency and readiness
Track and monitor key metrics related to financial close timeliness, accuracy, and system performance to support continuous process refinement

What we look for:
3+ years of minimal professional work experience in Finance/Accounting.
System implementation experience
Consumer Packaged Goods desired.
Experience managing professional staff
Skills and Abilities
Understand financial closing process/cycle and how close tasks impact the financial statement
Understand how to identify inefficiencies and support scalable solutions
Basic understanding of customer data, financial systems, and analytics potential
Be open to learning new technologies and processes
Familiar with testing processes, especially for system and SAP upgrades
Focused on identifying inconsistencies or data quality issues
Understands how data flows during Close cycles
Effectively reports issues and collaborates across business and technical teams
Able to diagnose root causes of data or test failures
Project management skills and effective organization

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $72,400 - $132,500
–Zone B: $66,400 - $121,500
–Zone C: $60,300 - $110,400
