Job Summary
A Rubber Technologist is responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing rubber compounds and production processes. This role focuses on enhancing material performance—such as durability, elasticity, and heat resistance—for products like tires, seals, hoses, Conveyor Belt and Rubber Sheets. The position typically operates across R&D, manufacturing, and quality control environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine rubber formulations based on product requirements
- Select appropriate polymers, fillers, additives, and curing systems
- Conduct lab trials to evaluate compound performance
- Establish and control processing parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time)
- Work with processes such as mixing, extrusion, molding, and calendaring
- Improve production efficiency and reduce material waste
- Perform physical and chemical testing (tensile strength, hardness, elongation, aging, etc.)
- Ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications
- Maintain documentation and testing records
- Identify defects and production issues. Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions
- Assist sales and customer service teams with technical expertise
- Prepare technical documentation and product data sheets
- Engage in product development and market research
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in (Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, Materials Science)
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of rubber chemistry and compounding ingredients
- Familiarity with processing techniques (injection molding, extrusion, etc.)
- Proficiency in laboratory testing methods and equipment
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
