Runner / Asistente General

Overview

The person in this position will be responsible for providing operational and logistical support to the jewelry store by handling errands and general tasks necessary for the day-to-day operation of the business.

Responsibilities

• Run errands within and outside of Old San Juan.
• Transport documents, merchandise, or materials as needed.
• Deliver and pick up jewelry pieces or work orders from the jeweler/silversmith and other vendors.
• Make operational purchases and pick up lunches or requested orders.
• Park and move employee or customer vehicles when necessary.
• Transport the owner, employees, or authorized visitors as requested.
• Provide general operational and administrative support.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Ensure proper care and responsible use of assigned vehicles and materials.

Experience

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Trustworthy, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with the San Juan metropolitan area and surrounding locations.
• Ability to multitask and handle time-sensitive assignments.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule and availability to assist with various operational tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry light to moderate items when necessary.
• Basic proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

Pay: $12.00 per hour
