We are actively hiring a Russian Linguist to work with a diverse team focusing on materials of a scientific nature. The position requires interaction with a wide variety of Government and contractor personnel in a diverse, evolving, high-profile environment.

Requirements:

• In this role, linguists will use native or near-native reading and writing skills and cultural expertise.
• Linguists will be involved in the review of vernacular reporting and broadcasts for translation and transcription into English.
• As needed, linguists may be asked to travel for short-term TDYs to domestic and foreign locations, including warzones.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree desired
• Interpretation between source and target languages
• Translation into English and target language
• Transcription into English and target language
• Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise
• Terminology Management
