Rust Developer

Fully remote: no on-site work required

Denovers, a Product Design and Engineering studio is immediately looking for an experienced Rust Developer to join an active product team in USA working on high-performance, production-grade systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who has written real Rust in production, understands ownership & memory safety deeply, and can reason about performance, concurrency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-ready Rust services
• Write clean, idiomatic, and well-tested Rust code
• Work with async Rust (tokio, async/await)
• Optimize for performance, safety, and scalability
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and product teams
• Review code and contribute to architectural decisions

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on Rust experience (production-level)
• Strong understanding of: Ownership, borrowing, lifetimes concurrency & memory safety

Experience with:

• Tokio, serde, reqwest, sqlx / diesel, REST APIs / gRPC and databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.)
• Familiarity with Linux environments & CI/CD
