The Role
We're hiring a Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives for our SaaS products, with a primary focus on Zanderio's growth across the Shopify and WooCommerce ecosystems.
This is a hands-on role. You won't just be strategizing—you'll be doing. From running paid campaigns and optimizing app listings to engaging in online communities and crafting compelling content, you'll own the full marketing funnel. You'll work closely with leadership to shape our go-to-market approach and build the foundation for a scalable marketing engine.

What You'll Do
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals and revenue targets
- Define target audience segments, messaging frameworks, and positioning for our products
- Create quarterly and monthly marketing plans with clear KPIs and deliverables
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and refine positioning
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to ensure marketing efforts support the full customer journey
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve ROI
Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, and platform-specific ad networks (Shopify Ads)
- Manage advertising budgets and allocate spend based on performance and strategic priorities
- Build and test ad creatives, copy variations, and landing pages to improve conversion rates
- Set up proper tracking, attribution, and reporting for all paid channels
- Experiment with new channels and ad formats to find scalable acquisition opportunities
Content Marketing & SEO
- Develop a content strategy that drives organic traffic, educates prospects, and supports lead generation
- Write and publish blog posts, articles, case studies, and guides targeting e-commerce merchants
- Optimize content for SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- Create downloadable resources (ebooks, whitepapers, checklists) to capture leads
- Repurpose content across formats—turning blogs into social posts, videos into articles, etc.
- Build and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent publishing
Community Engagement & Social Media
- Build and maintain an active presence in relevant online communities (Reddit, Facebook Groups, Slack communities, forums)
- Engage authentically with Shopify and WooCommerce merchant communities to build trust and awareness
- Manage company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram) with consistent posting and engagement
- Identify and participate in relevant conversations, offering value without being overly promotional
- Monitor community sentiment and gather feedback to inform product and marketing decisions
Shopify Ecosystem Marketing
- Optimize and continuously improve the Shopify App Store listing (copy, visuals, keywords, reviews)
- Develop strategies to increase app installs, reviews, and ratings
- Create Shopify-specific content and resources that resonate with Shopify merchants
- Stay updated on Shopify ecosystem trends, algorithm changes, and best practices
- Build relationships with Shopify partners, influencers, and complementary app developers
WooCommerce/WordPress Ecosystem Marketing
- Build presence and credibility within WooCommerce and WordPress communities
- Engage on relevant Reddit channels (r/woocommerce, r/wordpress, r/ecommerce, r/Entrepreneur)
- Optimize WordPress plugin listings and explore distribution through the WordPress plugin directory
- Create WooCommerce-specific content addressing the unique needs of WordPress merchants
- Identify partnership and co-marketing opportunities within the WordPress ecosystem
Analytics & Reporting
- Set up and maintain marketing analytics dashboards to track performance across all channels
- Monitor key metrics including traffic, leads, conversion rates, CAC, and campaign ROI
- Provide regular reports to leadership with insights and recommendations
- Use data to identify what's working, what's not, and where to double down
- Stay current with marketing tools, trends, and best practices
What We're Looking For
Required
- 1+ year of experience in digital marketing, preferably in SaaS, e-commerce, or tech startups
- Hands-on experience running paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with content creation—writing blog posts, social media content, or marketing copy
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and content optimization
- Comfortable working with data and using analytics to guide decisions
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and take ownership
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Genuine interest in SaaS, e-commerce, and helping merchants succeed
Preferred
- Experience with Shopify and/or WooCommerce ecosystems
- Familiarity with app store optimization (ASO) for Shopify or similar marketplaces
- Background in B2B marketing targeting SMBs or merchants
- Understanding of AI/automation tools and how to market technical products
- Experience engaging in online communities (Reddit, forums, Slack groups)
- Basic design skills for creating marketing visuals (Canva, Figma, or similar)
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
Bonus Points
- Previous experience at an early-stage startup
- Portfolio of marketing campaigns you've executed with measurable results
- Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing
- Knowledge of the e-commerce technology landscape and merchant pain points
- Video content creation or editing skills
