Safeguarding Intern

The Opportunity

The post will provide varied and complex Safeguarding assistance to the Country Office and work closely with the related departments.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • Turkish nationality is a requirement for this position,
  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Psychology, Social Work, Law, or related fields,
  • Strong interest in child rights, safeguarding, and humanitarian principles,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Turkish
  • Good attention to details,
  • Computer literate (including working knowledge of Microsoft Office) and ability to do internet-based research,
  • Strong organisational skills and discretion with confidential information,
  • Ability to work independently and proactively,
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and work in a team environment,
  • Proven ability to handle challenging workload and to work under stress,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Position holder will be based in İstanbul, therefore legal right to work in Türkiye is necessary at the time of application.
